Week 39

Routine check up.
No signs of baby engaging yet. But we were told last week that it may go pass due date as baby was in the "back to back" position with head down.
Baby must come out latest by 18 March 2010 (week 41). Doc gave us date to choose to induce if baby is not out by 4th. Hmm, make me nervous.
Gained 1.7kg over a week, not good, all thanks to CNY party. Control!!

Well, gift from a friend of Tun, Avent bottles.
Will get them cleaned and ready.

Farewell Dinner

The farewell dinner (22/2/2010) the Guess Accessories Staff organised for me @ DShire Cafe, Kota Damansara.
Great turn-out. Didn't expect so many of them.
They wanted me to give a speech, and I did.
I think in the end, it ended up as "lecture" then speech, cause it was a 46min speech haha. A bit long winded but thats the last opprtunity for me to give them a piece of my mind.
It's not about the food or environment, even though it was not bad, it was more about the last chance for me to really tell them how I felt and hope they remembered what I said and will really excel well in their work. Sad to leave but it was also a relieve.

Garfield

Introducing, baby's friend - Garfield.
Usually it is difficult to differentiate these cats but Garfield, when you see him, you won't miss.
His face shape is so unique (see pic) and he always have the grumpy, "what are you looking at" look.
We love to see him. He wanders around our area, like a "tai ko".

Reunion Dinner cum Bday Dinner for Tai Sou

Bought a pair of Guess Earring for Tai Sou's Birthday.
Today is her birthday and coincidently is Nin Sam Sap where we will be having our reunion dinner.
Bro in Law booked a place at Jaya Palace and we had dinner together. All good.
She wore the earring the next day when she came to Pai Nin at our house. Glad that she likes it.

Week 37

Routine check up.
Baby's head is 91mm.
Estimated weight around 3kg.
I lost 0.3kg in a week.
Looking at gaining some during the CNY : (
Tiger's current position is head down, face up.
I love to feel his movement : )
Can't wait to see him.
Doc said baby at this position will most likely go pass the due date, slightly.
Fingers crossed!!

He is already a "ko ko" even before he is born. Yay!!

Will be seeing him again tomorrow. Perhaps he is just getting ready : )

This is the 2nd strip that I used. We kinda screwed up the first test strip : P
Still remember we didn't know how to react when we saw this, just "yay, confirmed", then Tun went cycling as usual ?!

Week 34

The Tiger Roar (Yawn!!) so cute, so adorable.
We can see your face : ) Baby's head is 85mm.
Gain 0.2kg over 2 weeks. Good progress huh.

Week 33

I have yet to measure my waist

Am 57.7kg. On average, am gaining 1kg per month.
Doc said that's the way it should be.

Getting Ready

Preparing for Baby Tiger's arrival.
Washed the 1st batch of his clothing and take ages to dry : (
However, his room is not ready yet.
Still a few more things to be done before we can put the furniture in.

Baby Tiger's curtain is ready. We have collected it from Ikea, it's heavy, hence, Tun had to carry it, like worker carrying rice sack, haha



















See... My name there. Have to pay additional RM75 for the sewing. I wish I can sew it myself.
That would be a big accomplishment, for our precious baby.














Forever "online" aje. Even when we were at the cinema waiting to enter.
We watched Avatar 3-D, as recommended by sis in America : )
Excellent show, love the story, love the 3-d effect.
Was a bit worried about baby as he moved a lot more than usual during the fight scene.
Probably too loud.
3-hour show, and the 3-d glasses was too heavy and uncomfortable.

Prep for Party

Today is Tun & I's 1st Anniversary (we registered on Christmas Eve :)
It had been a wonderful year filled with lots of happy memories.

We are attending a Xmas party at Bro In Law's House.
Hence, I went out for a last minute shopping.
Actually, I already have the gift ready way way before Xmas, but am short of something.
So, hitting the mall again to get the final supplies.

Came home, and wrapped them up alone, all by myself without any people disturbing me : )
And we have~~~















The biggest is for BIL. Brown box is for SIL, box with ribbon (handmade) is for little Yean and finally the smallest box is for my dearest : )
He knew what is inside the moment he shaked it. ~~~ there goes my surprise. Never knew he was that smart, but am not super surprise that he got it right. He had been using that thing for long time. I guess you can guess what is that by now : )




















Something special to little Yean, instead of always toys toys toys.
To the naughty boy that sometimes really drives people mad!!














And grandpa always say wanna buy cane for Little Yean.
He would get very angry and there was once he pinched his grandpa for keep asking him about the cane. Terror~~~

28 Weeks

Coolababy

Tested the Coolababy.
Pour 1/4 cup of water. It can absorb well, but am not sure whether can keep baby's little butt dry.
I think will have to change very often. And I bought nappy liner just now. Wonder whether can put that to use to help keep the "shi-shi" from baby's precious little butt : ) will test again.

Shopping Spree

Spent 3 hours in Jusco MidValley shopping for baby's stuff.
Phew~~ packed with people because it's member's day.
Spent a lot of money, but well spent...
Even bought mitten and booties for baby's cousin : )

12 Dec 09

Have been feeling tired and moody the whole day.
While I was watching movie in the living room around 5pm, I suddenly felt my belly has harden.
Baby's still moving as usual. Then I stared at my belly for 5 minutes, suddenly a "small hill" appeared on my belly : ) for 2 seconds. It was baby's limb, either his leg or his hand or elbow, he had been stretching a lot lately but this is the first time I see this.
So adorable!! and exciting to see it the second time, but am not so lucky for the rest of the day. He merely move or kick gently.

10 Dec 09 - 28 months

Today is the day where we get to see him again.
My belly doesn't look big. But the doc said baby is the right size.
I only gained 1.3kg (56.3kg) which is good, according to the doc.
Baby's heart is developing well.
The last check-up we were unable to see baby's face cause he was covering his face with his hand.
These past few weeks we have been telling him to move his hand and show us his handsome face, and sit still so that the doc can measure him : ) and baby chai is super obedient. He had his hand right under his chin at first then when the doc was scanning his face, he moved his hand. Either he knew we were looking at him or it was a coincidence : )
And we also saw him yawn, so cute. Probably he was just opening his mouth to swallow some fluid. Anyway, we would prefer to think that he was yawning. When we told baby's grandpa about him yawning, grandpa said "How can?" in a very funny tone, he didn't believe us.
Baby's private part can also be seen super clearly!!
Good Boy!!! See you in 2 and a half month ~~

For My Precious

I have been waiting and waiting for the past 2 days and finally it arrived!! Today!!
Guess what's inside : ) Am so excited when I heard honking sound outside, I knew it must be the Postman. Tun went out to collect and I saw them from upstairs.
Haha, Tun was trying to sneek the package in, thought of giving me a surprise but unfortunately, I am too SMART hohoho....














All the way from Ipoh. The cheapest I can find.





























Tada~~~ the CooLaBaby Cloth Diapers!!!
So cute. Material is ok, I think. Am not sure about that after wash.
But they are up to expectation so far until I actually use it on baby chai.
Will bring all these for a few wash first. So excited!!
I have 10 sets here. Wonder whether these are sufficient.

Our Choice

Instead of painting the wall of the baby's room, we opt for curtain. This will be the one.
Currently work in progress!!

One Week After The Wedding

We gather again in Pavilion's Michaelangelo Restaurant.
Great time spent there.
And unlucky me, I had a flat tyre in the car park.
Nobody in the mall wants to help. Very "Gooooood" service from the Mall Management.
So, in the end, it is still my most beloved came to my rescue : ) (1 hour later)

21 Nov 09 - J & S Big Day

Finally after 10 years courtship, they "sealed" it.
It was a very well organised wedding with very very minimal chaos.
The "heng dai" too are very cooperative. Superb!!

Didn't expect it to be soooo.... good.
But I am not suppose to eat so much of these, so, just 1 or 2 slices will do.

13 Nov 09 - 24 months and still counting

"Ok, lets determine the sex of this babie today, once and for all", this was what Tun said when he just sat down in front of the Doc, of course it meant as a joke.

Therefore, first thing the doc did was scanning babie's backside, babie moved a lot, and the doc was trying to chase after "private part"~~ to scan......

And wala.... he opened his legs wide this time around and showed us, "I am a BOY!!", good babie.

All normal except I gained 2.4kg this time, Doc warned me to watch my diet. Ooops~~~

1 Nov 09 - Shopping Craze

Got to know about a warehouse sale going on in Puchong, hence I went there alone on 30/10/09.
Well, I manage to find the place, quite secluded, at my first attempt, lucky me.

Got in, there was a small crowd, plus it was raining that time.
Checked out those stuff, but was having difficulty choosing the right stroller and car seat.
I was confused, without Tun around ti help me evaluate which is more practical.
Well, to avoid making silly purchases, I left without any purchase, but with items in my mind already.

Today, we went there together. My duty was just to show him which are the items in mind, and he evaluated the "pros and cons", hehe, as in whether they are practical and suitable, and wala, we made a big purchase, with most of the items covered:-

Baby Cot (with mattress, pillows, bolster and other accessories, complete set!)
STroller (3-wheeled, haha, love it so much)
Car Seat (sporty type of course)
Baby monitor

The cot set is a real bargain!!





























However, we still do not have the bottles yet, which I said that's my next in list the last time : (
